Are you in tune with your values, your character and who you really are?

How amazing does it feel when you are being true to yourself and being the best version of you?

My favourite quote is ‘Be yourself everyone else is already taken’ by Oscar Wilde.

Somewhere on our journey our roles can shift, whether that be personally or professionally, and what was once a path we were following the landscape has changed right before us.

I’ve certainly experienced this on a few occasions personally and professionally and I wish I knew then what I know now – that’s always the case isn’t it haha.

As a Development Partner for #iAM values I reconnected with my values over 4 years ago and wow was it full of lightbulb moments. It was a real mixture of yep that really makes sense, I hadn’t realised that moments and the joy of seeing ‘yes this is me – I’m unique and very happy with that’

So why did I towards the end of last year feel something was missing?

Because quite honestly I’d buried some of my values and what is important to me without even realising it with a change in ways of working for all the obvious reasons of the past few years.

I am a believer that things happen for a reason and to cut a long story short I revisited them and found exactly which bits I wasn’t doing that bring me joy, give me energy and give me the solid foundation that I need, my heart value is Sharing Knowledge which for those who know me well is no surprise at all.

You may not be aware but as a Development Partner for #beyourselfatwork and I can help other people reconnect with their values and help them  identify why somethings are so important in their lives, why they don’t feel great when some things are missing and how we could overdo some of our values.

When we go through a massive change in our lives we can lose our direction and purpose, whether that be career, relationships or circumstances,  perhaps retirement or indeed our role changes.

If it’s something you’d like to find out more about drop me a message and we can arrange a call.
