I lost my way…
At some point last year I knew I just wasn’t being my ‘normal’ self yet I couldn’t pin it down to why.
I’m grateful for everything I have in my life, my family, my experiences and all the fabulous memories we’ve created. I get to work with amazing people on a daily basis yet still on some days I felt a bit flat.
Thankfully the answer was there right in front of me I’d stopped doing some of the things that brought me joy, re-energised me and put a spring in my step.
For me it was the aftermath of Covid, like many I’d had to make some changes, some great, some not so good for me.
The thing that highlighted it for me was revisiting my iAM Values – I’ve got 13 values which make me who I am. They are part of my make up, the way I think and the way I live my life.
One of my foundation values is people passion – I have a genuine fascination for people, what they do, why they do it and their journey, I love that we are all unique.
Two of my other values are ‘connecting with others’ and ‘creative thinking’ so no surprises that I do what I do haha.
As an iAM Developer I love that I can help other people reconnect with their values, it can be life changing, liberating, mind blowing and full of lightbulb moments.
My favourite quote is ‘Be yourself everyone else is already taken’ by Oscar Wilde.
